REINZ has released the latest Rent Review which identifies the latest median rental price broken down by bedroom size.

The market rent statistics are derived from information gathered from bonds lodged at the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) – Tenancy Bond Services. The results may not be a true indication of the rental market because they only reflect properties where bonds are lodged at the MBIE – Tenancy Bond Services.

It still shows that the Invercargill rent prices have increased in the past year, and will only continue to grow as the demand still outweighs the supply. It is a great time to invest here, with a number of people looking for a place to call home.
