Business Owner/Property Manager
Leeann, a proud Southlander, embarked on her property management career in 2002. She has a true passion for forming strong, lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants, finding great satisfaction in the daily challenges and problem-solving that come with property management. With over two decades of rich experience under her belt, Leeann bravely ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own property management company.
Rent South stands as a testament to her commitment to excellence in property management, supported by a stellar reputation built over many years. An advocate for the improvement of the Residential Property Management industry and with the recently appointed REINZ RPM ambassador Leeann is deeply committed to fostering knowledge sharing among companies to elevate industry standards across the board.
When she is not working you will find her spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, gardening, and exploring what New Zealand has to offer.
Leeann enjoys supporting and watching her two son’s Hudson and Phoenix in their sporting endeavours.
Amy Morrison
Senior Property Manager
Meet Amy, a true Southland local with a sprinkle of charm and a wealth of knowledge about Invercargill and its vibrant community! With nearly 20 years in the property management game, she’s not just REINZ Accredited, but also a fully qualified Property Manager sporting a Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management.
Amy is passionate about turning the often-stressful process of finding a home into an enjoyable journey. She skilfully bridges the gap between landlords and tenants, ensuring everyone finds their perfect match. As a landlord herself, she truly gets the importance of matching people with the right property and understands the value of looking after her clients’ prized assets. Amy takes immense pride in her work, building strong bonds with clients—many of whom have been with her from day one of her career.
When she’s not busy making property dreams come true, you can find Amy cherishing moments with her grandchildren or rolling up her sleeves as a trustee for an environmental trust, making the world a little greener one step at a time!
Sammie McGuire
Property Manager
Sammie was raised in Invercargill and has always had a passion for working with people. Before moving into Property Management three years ago, she spent 12 years in the beauty industry, which gave her a strong foundation in customer care and communication. What she loves most about Property Management is fitting all the pieces of the puzzle together – whether it’s meeting with owners, finding the right tenants, or making sure everything runs smoothly in between. Building genuine connections and delivering great service is what drives her every day.
Sammie holds the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Property Management and is an accredited professional, further strengthening her knowledge and commitment to the industry.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, their first baby, and the family dog. Together they enjoy the outdoors, with some of their best days spent out on the lake, cruising in the boat and soaking up the fresh air.
Suzanne Kempton
Office Executive
Suzanne is your admin go-to and the friendly face you will see as you walk into our office. She has lived in Southland her whole life and enjoys the laid-back pace it offers.
Suzanne began in administration in 1994 for a national real estate company. Her career as a Property Manager started in 2002 and she has come full circle with her career being back in an administration role.
She likes the variety the Property Management industry provides, where no two days are the same. Experience is important in this industry, and with her extensive knowledge, Suzanne provides strong support to the Rent South team. She has two grown up children, Sam and Emily, as well as two cats and a dog. She likes to garden, socialise with family and friends, and be a tourist in our own back yard.
