Leeann Tautari
Business Owner/Property Manager
Leeann, a proud Southlander, embarked on her property management career in 2002. She has a true passion for forming strong, lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants, finding great satisfaction in the daily challenges and problem-solving that come with property management. With over two decades of rich experience under her belt, Leeann bravely ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own property management company.
Rent South stands as a testament to her commitment to excellence in property management, supported by a stellar reputation built over many years. An advocate for the improvement of the Residential Property Management industry and with the recently appointed REINZ RPM ambassador Leeann is deeply committed to fostering knowledge sharing among companies to elevate industry standards across the board.
When she is not working you will find her spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, gardening, and exploring what New Zealand has to offer.
Leeann enjoys supporting and watching her two son’s Hudson and Phoenix in their sporting endeavours.
Amy Morrison
Senior Property Manager
With nearly 20 years in property management, Amy knows the Southland rental market and the people in it. A lifelong Southlander and property investor herself, she understands the realities of owning and renting property and the importance of having someone you can rely on to get things done.
Amy takes a straightforward, hands-on approach to property management. She believes good communication, attention to detail and doing what you say you will do go a long way. Her experience means she’s comfortable dealing with everything from the everyday to the unexpected, while keeping things practical and professional.
REINZ Accredited and qualified with a New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4), Amy keeps up with the requirements of the industry and takes pride in providing a high standard of service to both owners and tenants.
Over the years, Amy has built many long-term client relationships, some dating back to the beginning of her career — something she values highly.
Away from work, Amy enjoys time with her grandchildren, travelling, getting outdoors and enjoying everything Southland has to offer.
Suzanne Kempton
Senior Property Manager
Suzanne is the newest face in property management at Rent South, although she brings many years of experience to the role. After previously working in an administration position at Rent South, she has returned to property management and is enjoying being back in the industry. Having lived in Southland her whole life, Suzanne enjoys the relaxed pace and lifestyle the region offers.
She enjoys the variety that comes with property management, where every day brings something different. With her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, Suzanne is a valuable addition to the Rent South team and provides strong support to both the team and our clients.
Outside of work, Suzanne has two grown-up children, Sam and Emily, and a much-loved dog, Tilly.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, catching up with family and friends, and exploring Southland — being a tourist in her own backyard.
Nicola Boath
Office Executive
Hi, I’m Nicola, and I’m delighted to be joining the team at Rent South Property Management.
I’m a proud Southlander and, although I have spent time living in both Canterbury and Otago, Southland has always felt like home. I returned to the region 13 years ago and have loved being back in the community ever since.
My background is in administration, with experience across all aspects of day-to-day office operations. I enjoy working with people, communicating with clients and making sure everything behind the scenes is organised and running smoothly. From managing systems and processes to supporting the wider team, I take pride in being dependable, approachable and always willing to lend a hand.
I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to Rent South and being part of a locally owned business that genuinely values its clients, tenants and community.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Pete, and our son, Zephan. We love life on our lifestyle block and also enjoy escaping to our second home on Rakiura Stewart Island whenever we can.
I’m also a fan of classic cars and, during the warmer summer months, you will often find me out enjoying a drive in my 1939 Chevrolet.
